Vacation Package Details
While vacation packages from different suppliers include differing rules and conditions, here is a basic outline of what you can expect when booking a vacation package from Mr. Travel Planner.
Flights
Most vacation packages include flights; however, some packages may be based on rail adventures like Amtrak Vacations, or with select cruise lines. Flights that are part of vacation packages usually earn miles differently from standalone flight tickets. Many packages access airline "Bulk Fares" allowing for lower priced airfare than the published ticket price.
Rental Cars
Packages may also include a rental car as part of the booking. Our clients can choose from almost any class rental car when booking a vacation package, from a variety of car companies. Sometimes taxes and fees will need to be paid on site, when picking up the rental. Your agent will inform you if this is the case.
Hotels
Hotels are a common part of vacation packages. There is plenty of flexibility when choosing what hotel is right for you. Our agents will make specific recommendations for your travel needs. Hotel bookings sometimes earn points differently than standalone hotel bookings.
Activites
Activities like food tours and walking tours can often be added to certain packages. This could also include prepaid museum tickets, or admission to other venues.
